New style of photos of the T/A

I drove around and looked at places while it was getting close to sunset trying to come up with new ideas on how to change the way i take photos. I hope what you see shows a change in how they came out. You'all know i post alot of photos but its something i enjoy and the only way i can get better is from feedback through the forums.

Should be a poll. I say #4, and sweet pics

NJ346 04-12-2009 09:25 PM

Your car needs a ram air hood and I think #1 would be a great shot if the car was actually centered.

sweetbmxrider 04-12-2009 09:26 PM

they are some really nice shots. there isn't much wrong with them looking at the car. 5-8 the sky is really washed out which happens with the exposure you are probably shooting. 9 i wish was a little crisper, its a really nice setup. i think 4 would look better without the border fade, it kinda cramps the photo if you know what i mean. did you shoot in that alley with your car angled at all? that would look pretty cool i think. nice shots though!

you should go back there with a chick and have her dressed all mechanic-like with some grime and oil on her acting like she's fixin your car. thad be hawt!!

oh #1 is my fav, just wish the chrome on the wheels had more pop to them, the setting sun really killed their tint. maybe try shooting with a polorizor too? crop the photos together or something crazy?

Number 3

Tsar 04-12-2009 09:28 PM

New wheels, go go go.

What photo editing software do you use? Just curious. Beautiful car by the way...

#3 Dude u make the car look even sicker

Frosty 04-12-2009 11:39 PM

#4 is nice

maroman88 04-13-2009 12:13 AM

69BirdX 04-13-2009 06:49 AM

Dilley 04-13-2009 09:34 AM

you definitely need a border, but that style really cramps that pic IMO. just a normal border on that one would look better to me.

Knipps 04-13-2009 12:03 PM

some photoshop + #8 and you can have a sweet pic. My idea would be to cut out the building at the end of the alley and come up with something more so it looks like the car is lined up for a run

BigRed 04-13-2009 12:16 PM

i think #1 is the best, and maybe crop to the building on the left in #2, and on the the ones with sky, idk what kinda camera youre using but try to meter on the sky and where the car is and go with something in between that way when you edit you can fiddle with with levels in both, or shoot a couple stops darker with your exposure.

exactly wat i meant... a border is nice... just not one that fades into the focus point of the picture

Ian 04-13-2009 05:31 PM

Number 2 is my favorite. Number 4 would be a great pic if the border didn't get so close to the car, but it looks too confined the way it is. besides that, great work, you're getting better.

maroman88 04-13-2009 06:09 PM

#4's border has just performed a magic trick and disapeared!?!?!

DaSkinnyGuy 04-13-2009 06:13 PM

ok changed #4 with no border

sweetbmxrider 04-13-2009 06:34 PM

yeah but do a rectangular border like 5-9 to frame it.
