ok so my brother (onew1ckedz) went out to long island today and on the way back he got stuck in traffic on the cross bronx express. next to him pulled up a car with three "people" (they werent white) who started yelling at him and his girlfriend and then proceeded to throw coins at the hood of his car resulting in 6 chips and dings. he got 7 of the license plate numbers and i think he said it was a taxi. they made a quick exit and were gone.

he also didnt stick around since the cross bronx is very busy and there wasnt a place to pull over

now obviously this is not an act of God like weather or accidental rocks being kicked up by a car in front of them, it was a deliberate act of vandalism to his car

my question to anyone is what can be done? call the bronx police? call insurance?

make a police report. give them the plate number. bill the offenders.

yeah make a police report..he should have called the police asap before they were long gone.

reasons like this are the reasons why i always carry a knife and mace in my car...people are crazy.

yea so if he didnt yet is it a hopless case?

if he gives the license plate number to the police and they find that the people you described match the owners then you have hope. as for now. probably not.
