And it begins...

Double edged sword I suppose, the summer is starting up... annnnd bring on the crappy, lost, senseless drivers from out of state!

God damn, was ready to kill a few people on the way to school this morning... absolute horrible driving... :-x

That and the beach roads are already getting packed.

WildBillyT 04-28-2009 10:21 AM

Yup. That time of year for sure.

LTb1ow 04-28-2009 10:21 AM

The Z is now a nice night car only... lol

JL8Jeff 04-28-2009 10:22 AM

The crappy drivers are everywhere right now. I think the weather has something to do with it. Once it cools back down hopefully their brains will start to function again.

LTb1ow 04-28-2009 10:24 AM

IDK, I think the flood gates have opened....

ar0ck 04-28-2009 10:25 AM

Although I'm not down the shore (yet) I can feel my brain melting in the sweltering heat of the high school.

LTb1ow 04-28-2009 10:26 AM

That sucks man.

Brookdale is like a friggen meat freezer... lol

sweetbmxrider 04-28-2009 10:32 AM

eh it brings business

wrong generation 04-28-2009 10:36 AM

wawa's should have a "locals only" register inside the stores and a "locals only" section of gas pumps out side. that way our lives can function as normal this time of year and we arnt stuck waiting in long useless lines because of all well you bennies lol

LTb1ow 04-28-2009 10:36 AM

I just am happy for night classes this summer...

sweetbmxrider 04-28-2009 10:38 AM

i find the benniesgohome and other nonsense in really poor taste. without that local economic boost, these parts wouldn't last.

LTb1ow 04-28-2009 10:40 AM

Agreed, buut, they still suck at driving and or most normal human functions.

7pointoh 04-28-2009 10:40 AM

Eh. It's nothing different than what I'm used too. Idiot drivers are one thing but I absolutely hate the the traffic that comes with the season. Especially around the Monmouth Race track. Just means more cops at intersections controlling the lights.

LTb1ow 04-28-2009 10:40 AM

Aha, this your first summer here?

Avoid Monmouth park area like the plague.

Yup. In the off season, look around at all the businesses that close. They would be closed for realsies if you didn't get a ton of people hitting up the shore.

Knipps 04-28-2009 10:45 AM

AKA the shore would be nothing without the North.

This would be my second summer here. And I can't avoid Monmouth park. It's on my way to work. I guess I can jump on the 36 and go all the way around to the west gate to Ft Monmouth. But I still would get hit with the traffic.

LTb1ow 04-28-2009 10:47 AM

Eh. You should be fine. Go to work earlier lazy!

DevilDougWS6 04-28-2009 11:13 AM

its funny that people come from all over the state and from other states, down to the shore. It's kind of like partying at someone elses house. They won't live here, but they leave a hell of a mess and consume everything in sight, then they head back home.

Hooper ave is bad enough as it is. Im glad I wont be home this summer to deal with it.

JW 04-28-2009 11:28 AM

Its not "down the shore" its "the beach"!
Damn shoobies!

DevilDougWS6 04-28-2009 11:31 AM

i live in TR, about 10 mins from the beach. i call it down to the shore for the northerners so they know what im talking about

ar0ck 04-28-2009 11:39 AM

I'm driving south along the atlantic shoreline thus "down the shore"

sweetbmxrider 04-28-2009 11:40 AM

i call it home

LTb1ow 04-28-2009 11:42 AM

Yea, home? LOL

Technically from where I am in Cape May, I could reverse that and drive up the atlantic shoreline and this would that be "up the shore" hmm..?
Also, what about the people inland driving east? would they be "sideways the shore"?
