Stereo Question
 

Ok, I am running a creative sound card connected to my Onkyo stereo with a optical cord.

When I listen to music it almost sounds better when I am outside my room rather than in it.... I assume the stereo is overkill for my room. Its the TX-SR304 receiver, and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to spread out the sound across the 5 speakers?

I know I can't run true 5.1 cause most of my music is not 5.1 but I usually run the Neo6 to fool it into thinking it is 5.1 . I am pretty sure I can adjust each speaker but I am just not sure how too.
