Major driveline problems
 

I can't seem to figure out what the heck is going on. If I put the car in 2nd gear
and accelerate even 1/4 pedal the car shutters and slips big time. If I leave it in drive 1st to 2nd shift shutters like crazy at about 1/4 to half pedal. At times this is so bad the ABS inop light comes on. 3rd and 4th gear seem ok. Also when I was backing out of my driveway with my foot on the brake slowly rolling back I was hearing a clunking which sounded like it was coming from the rear end, but that could be vibration from the trans being transferred to the rear through the drive shaft. I'm just not sure what the heck is happening. If I drive on the lite to normal side it's a lot less noticeable but still there. Any ideas:-?

are there any codes? its a 94, correct?

yes it's a 1994, no check engine light.

Seems like your clutches are slipping. I had the same thing happen on my 06 GTO.
