noid light?

ZeroCool8891 05-15-2009 11:32 AM

i dont have one, i have a volt meter, i herd you can test the ohms, if so how many ohms should it be per injector.

What do you wnt to test? A noid light tests signal from ECM. I'd have to look up using an ohm meter across an injector to test but I suppose that woud show you an open or shorted one.

Are the spark plugs wet with fuel?

ZeroCool8891 05-15-2009 03:18 PM

i found out what the ohms are, and no, i have a vats dash harness but i have the starter part bypassed so it cranks but the injectors are not spitting out fuel so i know what i have to do.

ZeroCool8891 05-15-2009 04:25 PM

yep i was rite, put an non vats ecm in and fired rite up.

sweetbmxrider 05-15-2009 04:42 PM

ZeroCool8891 05-15-2009 04:46 PM

yea, cheap junk. its funny when i got the vert 3 years ago it had vats and no 9th injector it was a late 88, but ehh dont care. it all works.

BonzoHansen 05-15-2009 08:11 PM

Glad you fixed it. So a noid light would have showed you no fuel, lol.
