Cars look great, and nice photos Jon! Even that Fairlane!

Is it me or does the Granada's DS front tire look like the bottom is out much further than the bottom?

bad64chevelle 05-18-2009 09:55 AM

Thanks Everyone!

69Bird where did you see me? Cruising?

Nick, the Granada has not gotten aligned yet, it probably is out further.

I got tired of sitting in traffic, so we parked and started our own show in a shopping complex.

Yea you drove by me standing on the corner of 94 street. Only time i saw your car.

bad64chevelle 05-18-2009 11:29 AM

Ahh okay, yeah we went up that way once earlier on Friday night, and then my buddy got there around 3am and we went up and down a few times before we called it a night. That area seemed to be less congested the rest of the weekend, my clutch really did not like traffic too much, we parked at the Food Lion complex on Saturday night for a while and I waited for it to cool down some.

I was suprised how calm it was. Seemed like there wasnt as many police as previous years. I may have seen more times around 3 am but i wouldnt remeber. Thats about the time i got out of the bar and was walking around

Yeah, the cops were somewhat more laid back than last year, only going after the people who really went too far. Last year if you revved the motor they would say something, but I was happy to see them going after the people in normal cars who seemed to cause more problems. I dont know if you went down below 56th or above 110, but those areas were so congested, I usually kept to between those streets. I would cruse from when I woke up till 1pm then chill at the hotel till 630-700 because the traffic just was terrible.

baddest434 05-18-2009 04:25 PM

your car is sweet jon.

bad64chevelle 05-18-2009 08:03 PM

Thanks Bill, hopefully I can get the center console finished, and the other odds and ends in and maybe re align the sheet metal eventually so everything lines up again  its hard since they were not straight from the factory.

81malibu 05-18-2009 08:54 PM

We drove down that way alot but I was with my buddy in his Srt8 Magnum so we has no worries about overheating. It was a really big turnout and down that wat was congested. My friend has a house down 94 street so later on the night we walked up to bull on the beach got our drink on and watched the cars.
