For all the LT1 guys...
I was just browsing LS1tech and came across this car: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt...-thread-3.html http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...4/IMG_2106.jpg
Pretty sweet that a 19 year old is doing a turbo build and built everything by himself(motor, trans, fabbed the turbo manifold, etc.) |
it might just be me but there is alot of stuff missing under that hood..... but on a seriouse now that is impressive... im not much for turbos.... but it looks like it is comming together very nice for this guy... wonder whats inthe build.... motor and turbowise... that radiator is huge!!!

Kinda pisses me off. I thought I was the only one with that color intake manifold but looks like alot of work went into it and so far appears to be real clean set up.
|
looks sweet. kinda weird how the intake and block are blue :-?
and do something with the waterpump! paint/polish or something! |
I think since the block is painted blue and those wp fittings are blue, he would have to go another color like black or it would just look horrible,
Edit- but you're not really going to see much at all of the wp once the intake is on. My WP is painted and with my intake on you can barely see any of it due to the radiator/fans and intake. |
very true. it just looks so meh with everything else getting attention.
|
Is he running opti still?
|
sure doesn't look like it.
|
there's a trigger wheel behind the balancer and he's using a stand alone to control LS1 coils
|
Ya, saw that, nice setup.
Looks nice as hell with the engine bay empty like that.... |
thats so awesome! so is the trigger wheel custom? or from an ls1?
|
its probably part of his stand alone.
|
so where would one acquire such an item? lol
