PCM/ADL PROBLEMS....CALLING ALL TUNERS

hey i have a problem. today i was running close to E on the way to get some gas...my service engine soon light came on. im almost willing to bet its some sort of evap code or something stupid. well heres the problem....

i went to clear the codes with my code reader...nothing...wont communicate with the cpu. tried my other code reader, same results just says ''plug in adl and turn ignition to on''. tried the code reader at my job...nothing....SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....im thinking that when my vehicle was speed density tuned and modded that whoever did the tune locked me out of my own pcm....is this possible? and if so? can foff fix this

Check the other side of aldl and make sure none of the wires got knocked out. I doubt he can do that considering you need to get into the pcm read feature to pass inspection.

Try checking all the fuses. I've had that happen to me where I couldn't read the computer. If you want me to see if your tune is locking you out, I can take a look at it with HP tuners. I work over in Somerset so one day after work I could take a look at it.

im gonna look deeper into it on sunday. it doesnt seem to be running any differently than it did before the light came on....so im leaning towards the code being something retarded. im gonna pull the beauty cover down and see if the wires maybe wiggled loose when i ran open header for a bit. i tried jiggling the jack with the adl cable connected and couldnt even get a blip. weird. too bad theres no paper clip trick on this
