If you're legal enjoy the great USA. If you're not get the **** out. Period. The problem is in certain industries people would rather pay an illegal 8 an hour than an american citizen (any ethnicity) 10 an hour. Ive personally always thought some type of voluntary minimum wage program would help not only sideline illegal immigration but also help the economy a lot. Think about it. Yuo have a small town landscaper with 5 guys. 5 illegal guys payin them 8 an hour. No taxes being paid and on top of that they always save their money so when they go back to their country they're loaded instead of spending the money in their town or elsewhere. Well if there was some type of voluntary minimum wage program, that landscaper agrees to pay their LEGAL employees lets say 10 an hour but they get some for of tax break to alleviate that higher payroll. It's a win win situation, mainly for small towns. You now have 5 legal americans with jobs that pay taxes. And in most small towns people tend to spend more money in their town than anywhere else. So now that helps the towns economy too. Im sure a program like that would have some drawbacks, but not as many advantages such as putting more American citizens at work, bringing more tax revenue on both a state and federal level, and bringing more money to their specific towns. Just my .02
