Pre calc is not as bad as it sounds; its just trig. I was phenomenal in math in hs and college, but its been about 6 years since I've had to do anything really math related.

titanium not needed iirc, ti89 best calc ever. If allowed, this man speaks the truth.

If your spending the money, do it once. I got my titanium back in 8th grade, have yet to come across something it can't handle...

Knipps 06-08-2009 06:12 PM

Now since you swear by the titanium model, what differentiates it from the 89? Without looking it up.

LTb1ow 06-08-2009 06:14 PM

For me its just a hellava lot user friendly, you "can" integrate/differentiate on an 83, but its hard to do.

So just just buy the ti89 an I should be good??

TaKid455 06-08-2009 07:37 PM

I liked the TI 85. had lots of games. used it through college and still do. the 89 just came out in my SR yr of HS.
