Best detailer spray?

Looking for something to give a little deeper shine after the wash and wax...Theres alot of them out there mcguire's,etc. Which one do you guys reccomend?

sweetbmxrider 06-09-2009 07:31 AM

i've only used mcguires and it worked well. i used the spray wax and quick polish. it can be a little annoying with the wax though since its spraying everywhere, it gets in all the nooks and crannies. also, gotta be careful around the windows. they are nice and quick though, last pretty good.

Yea I bought that mothers fx and it was garbage, maybe ill try that new turtle wax ice...Alot of people dislike turtle wax but i never had a problem with it.

I use Meguiar's quick detailer. Has worked good for me as long as I've been using it. GM Finnish Enhancer also works pretty good.

That mcguires quick detailer is pretty inexpensive too...Ill hit Walmart later on and give it a whirl.

if u can, go to a harley dealer they have their own detail spray, its called Harley Gloss, **** works wonders.

its a little pricey but its worth it.

I use the turtle wax Ice.

I use Meguiar's as well...Ive always gotten great results from it especially after a nice wash/wax.

I think the ice products are junk, right now i use final inspection by meguiar's and their regular quick detail.

Scrat's_Camaro 06-09-2009 10:56 AM

mcguiars stuff is all i use. I was told 3m has good stuff but can be alittle more difficult to use

NastyEllEssWon 06-09-2009 11:23 AM

soap and water

Jam 06-09-2009 11:24 AM

i use meguiars quick detailer. but if you're planning on using it when it gets all dusty instead of using it after a carwash it's not a good idea, cause it will create swirl marks.

maroman88 06-09-2009 02:29 PM

meguires here as well

Featherburner 06-09-2009 03:32 PM

I use Adam's

BurninrubberGT 06-09-2009 03:37 PM

Meguiar's quick detail, stuff is pretty good

fyi dont polish and wax your car then use a quick detailer, a quick detailer is meant to literally quick detail your car after a wash or if you havent had a wax for awhile

19iroc88 06-09-2009 04:56 PM

i tried armor all quick detailer, and i was very happy with it

Anti_Rice_Guy 06-09-2009 05:22 PM

Meguiar's Quick detailer.

good answer :stupid: lol

Yea I picked up the Mcguires Quick Detailer, see how that works.

Jam 06-10-2009 10:59 AM

soap and water? if you're thinking about using dawn soap..only use that if you're fully detailing your car.

Sprayed some of that Mcguires quick detail on during lunch today and im impressed. Guess i found the answer to my question. Now I need to find a good tire shine , this black magic isnt cutting it anymore.

5.7TA 06-10-2009 02:38 PM

I actually like Armor All's Tire Shine it does really good on my tires...it does tend to gunk up the tire if you let it dry out too long...I haven't seen any bad side effects on the side walls from it either.

Yea I think ive used it in the past..isnt it the foam? I put it all on w/ a sponge now...got tired off wipeing black off my rear fenders lol.

5.7TA 06-10-2009 02:48 PM

I used to use the foam stuff, now they have it in a liquid form which is much easier to use...just spray it on and wipe it

sweetbmxrider 06-10-2009 02:54 PM

i usually just scrub the tires with a good brush and some car wash soap after im done with the car.
