ls1 third gen
I was thinking about maybe swapping the 350 tpi out of my 89 trans am and dropping in a ls1. Just wondering if anyone knows if it's worth it or not and if so how much fabricating will i have to do. It's just an idea right now but would like any input.:tta:

I put mine in back in 2004, and it's the best mod I ever did. Aside from a TR 224 cam, Crane dual springs, ported oil pump and JWIS chain the engine's stock.
It got 28mpg on the road trip to/from Memphis, and runs like shot from a barrel on a road course. Pics are at: http://www.warpten.com/carpics/ls1/ http://www.warpten.com/carpics/ls1_0214/ |
sounds very cool
