i was at work listening to towns like westwood, washington twsp, and emerson go nuts late this afternoon with this little area of T-storms.... they produced 3-4inches of ice/hail on the parkway near exit 168 as well as those 3 towns. they had the snow plows out, plus massive flooding and wires down. i hada take a ride wen i got out of work around 6 and snapped some pics with my phone, almost got stuck in a snow pile (IN JUNE!!!) and the TA is covered in mud now

that's crazy all we had here was massive flooding. Water started creeping up to the garage where I was working on the iroc, I had to shut the door and leave. All the roads were a mess with firetrucks driving everywhere and down trees.

I was in Haledon and it was actually worse there than NH but I guess that's because it's at a lower elevation

I jumped on rt 20 around 3:20 with the windows down and my sunglasses on.
Reached rt 208 around fair lawn & it was monsooning. Visibility was awful; gotta love the OEM headlights, they don't do a damn thing

Anti_Rice_Guy 06-16-2009 07:33 AM

I saw this on the news last night and went WTF

JL8Jeff 06-16-2009 07:51 AM

Wow, that's crazy. I managed to mow the back yard and then play 9 holes of golf after work. It didn't rain until 11pm last night. But we had around 3" of rain on Saturday so we don't really need any more.

JerzyIroc 06-16-2009 12:01 PM

Ya route 3 was at a standstill. It was crazy. I know it was worth more north. Someone said a small tornado touched somewhere too. Dunno if its bs or not. Probably is. Either way this weather is ****ing complete utter ********. It's rained well over half this month already. We're looking at more rain this week too. Wtf man???
