so i started an internship recently (about 2 weeks in) and at the orientation/briefing i met this cute girl who sat next to me. we would talk on and off during the breaks at orientation and she knew more where she was going around the base than i did, so she invited me to follow her because we work in the same building...we work in different departments, but i see her around every once in a while and we talk for a few minutes and today i asked her if she wanted to get lunch tomorrow. she said yes. now i have been thinking... do you guys think i should pay for her lunch as well, i am not sure where / what type of restaurant we are going to, but i have been trying to decide if i should pay her part of the bill too... what do you guys think:?:

If you asked her out to lunch then yes, you absolutely have to pay.

As far as where...you can't go wrong with an Applebee's/Chilli's/TGIFriday's type place

Why WOULDN'T you pay? Call me old fashioned, but guys are always supposed to pay for ladies, especially like this.

you deff should offer to pay but dont force it. i went on a date with a major feminist chick and she got offended when i insisted on picking up the check. but ya offer to pay but if she really wants to split it let her

I was planning on paying, I just was curious if I was just wrong in thinking that I should pay. I figured it would be expected but I said something to a friend and they didn't think so, but I still feel like I should.

You haven't invested in a 2 seat tricycle yet? Or a sidecar? Or better yet, a trailer so you can carry your race car around? :lol:

im guessing you are interning on ft monmouth or ft dix. who are you working for? I used to be a contractor on ft dix with CERDEC, or CECOM whichever they are calling it now.
