My thought exactly! Looks like a pretty sweet little car though.

Its not a 93(different intake manifold). Could have a weird routing for the vents or not have the vacuum hooked up (you can't have a vacuum line run to the opti if that line is under boost or you have a check valve in the way). Good call on the electric pump though.

very true on the 93 and forgot about the turbo.

DevilDougWS6 06-24-2009 02:46 PM

ha, pretty neat.

Lt1_8U 06-24-2009 04:41 PM

i saw a car just like that for sale at some place except the one i saw was a lot cleaner and it had a built 355 in it:drool:

MonmouthCtyAntz 06-24-2009 04:47 PM

Yea pretty cool, be better if it had an LS1 though

DevilDougWS6 06-24-2009 08:15 PM

ya, i was gonna pull this out:

"::fog horn:: anchors aweigh! http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...nchorsmall.jpg"

NJ Torque 06-24-2009 08:30 PM

motor looks so long.. haha.

Jam 06-24-2009 08:43 PM

that dude isphius is going to be all over this.

TaKid455 06-24-2009 09:53 PM

motor looks grimey for having all that work done. then again, I like clean nicely painted engines. but if it works, that may be a neat ride. I would expect more than 400 hp from a turbo 350 since that is easily obtainable w/o a turbo.

Reed does have the equipment to make this happen...

Yeah but that is true of any car out there :rollseye:

foff667 06-25-2009 01:01 AM

Neat but I definitely wouldn't kill for it by any means. Its a 90' Porsche with an LT1, nothing really exceptional there, maybe in 1994 it would've been awesome but rather lackluster 15 years later.

nj96z28 06-25-2009 06:29 AM

A friend of mine has that same car . Althoguh his is bone stock and in pieces....

grandkodiak 06-25-2009 09:26 AM

ha i have a soft spot for porsche and lt1 so... this is right up my alley... i think i might start dealing drugs for the money though if that were a lotus... but i think the lt1 weighs more then the entire car.... or a awd porsche

Fast92RS 06-25-2009 10:37 AM

I think its pretty cool. I agree that the engine is a little messy. Some cleaning and paint will make it look a lot better.

IDK about the 928 but the 924 has the trans in the rear, like a c5 setup. If i were to do a swap it would be ls1/auto, and a custom fabbed rear axle 4 link setup. Toyota pickup axle is the right width and plenty strong. The electric water pump is funny though...because it does look like one for an SBC
