What exhaust to buy?
Hey guys, I have an 01 firehawk with off road headers and off road ypipe. I would like to buy the slp loudmouth 2, but I am too afraid it will be too raspy. Anyone running any combinations of headers and exhaust with no cats. What about borla or corsa?

X pipe! :)

Borla is loud its louder the the slp loudmouth 2 Ive always loved the sound of borla though havent heard corsa in person
|
i run qtp long tubes, 3'' ory and a hooker catback. IMO its the best sounding exhaust ive had. even beats out my true duals...which somehow...this is louder than.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkuaR...eature=related sounds pretty much identical to that car edit: i had borla on my last car....it was just from the y back but sounded pretty good and the borla does come with caps to make it louder if youd like.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1uKyUlARd8 borla clip from my old z28 |
ive heard magnaflow w headers and no cat...sounded good, i loathe raspy exhausts...

Its all personal prefferance. Everytime this question is posted on any forum each person will reply with what they have. ls1sounds.com should help.

Magnaflow, do it or fail.
|
Corsa is my favorite, if you buy it and dont like it ill trade you my GMMG :)
|
Borla, Corsa and Loudmouth tend to be more raspy. Magnaflow, Hooker, Random Tech, B & B, Pypes are deeper.

here's my lt's, ory, magnaflow setup:
