Exhuast opinions

What would you suggest for a catback for a LS1 car?

Car has LT's, ORY and a BIG cam...

Have a magnaflow now and don't really like the sound... a SLP or TSP rumbler would be too loud for me... any opinons?

S.J.SLEEPER 08-07-2009 08:18 PM

I've got a eldebrock sdt system. Real nice sound, would love to keep it but i go out late @ night and my kids are sleeping.(3 lil ones) with long tubes,no cats and 3" tips
i am looking to get it quiet and use a cutout or something.
Hows the magnaflow is it quieter than a flowmaster system? I'd be interested in trade.

SLP dual/dual if you can find it(good luck lol)

LTb1ow 08-07-2009 09:38 PM

B&B Triflow.

S.J.SLEEPER 08-07-2009 10:36 PM

I have a slp dual dual system in my garage !, was gonna try that on this weekend. Not willing to give that one up.
I do have a b & b triflow muffler only if interested.

I like the way the Corsa exhaust sounds on a LS engine.

S.J.SLEEPER 08-07-2009 11:15 PM

YEAH, corsa real nice system, relatively quiet @ idle & part throttle but loud when wot. little costly though

procamaroz28 08-07-2009 11:37 PM

S.J.SLEEPER 08-10-2009 12:18 AM

hey if interested i just saw a complete corsa system on craigslist for $500.00 or b/o in jersey. its the 1300.00 dollar sytem too. somebody better grab it cause i am debating on buying it just to try it out. i just have too many systems now.

I have the Random Tech catback on my SS with LT's and dual high flow cats and it's very mellow at lower speeds and on the highway. when it gets above 3500 rpm's it's pretty loud since it's a straight through muffler.

x pipes true duals dumped before axle

and obviously i meant it in the same terms as for "one of my other", lol

i think i have 7 still now...

2 will have Magnaflow
1 has a Flowmaster American thunder
1 has oem sidepipes
1 will eventually get a Summit diesel exhaust
1 has nothing
1 just has headers i think
