Anyone else like to turn off the lights and just watch the carnage?

yessss. I used to get caught in them at night when I was on my boat, it was the best.

or now cause u mentioned it

if i was on a boat i would probably flip out

just cool to watch...nature's fireworks

yeah i used to not like storms when i was little, and after one time of being stuck out in the middle of the ocean...i love them. even the worst ones on land are nothinggggg compared to out at sea.

was just outside watching them while walking a railroad track,,

i was just out on the porch watching it. i love storms unless they do damage

railroad track in the storm? wow..

dam storm woke me up at 5 am...lighting strike literally right outside my window. Sounded like a dam gunshot. BAH!

went into work at 6 this morning. No power, clock on the wall stopped at 1:40 am. So I just went back home.

Yup was up around 4 am listening to the storms. Was pretty strong too.

hahaha that's funny.


storm didn't wake me up...dogs did. My one dog is so scared, the other wants to go outside during the storm..

i love storms but there wasn't anything good around here

i hate storms....a bunch of branches scratched up my roof pretty bad in yesterdays storms

We're getting dumped on right now and there's a lot of heavy rain heading up this way from down around the DC area. The river is starting to climb quickly again. This year has just been unreal.

Dam, I think we've gotten 1-2" of rain in the last 45 minutes or so. I think we've gotten 5-6" of rain since middle of the day yesterday.

:shrug: no rain here right now. odd, that has happened a lot this summer. pouring rain in Hopewell none here.

This is the 5th or 6th time this year we have had torrential downpours and the water just runs off the golf course like this.
