Another price drop $6000 Firm for board members and friends of board members also no longer accepting trades
So I think I'm pretty serious about it now. I built up this car over the winter so I can drive it. It runs and drives great, but I don't really have any true reason for selling other than wanting the money, or wanting something different. I think we all know how that goes. After all the work i've done, i never really built that 'attachment' that many of us find towards our cars. I put a lot of work into this car, swapping in an LT1 350 along with a 700r4. The 350 was totally rebuilt, with reciepts for everything. The short block was assembled by Raz Performance Machine, running a crane 227 cam along with speed pro forged pistons. The motor makes 10.8:1 compression, and uses B-body iron heads. It has been bored .030" and uses a stock crank which has been cut and balanced for the new pistons. It has also been decked, line honed, etc so the block is in great shape. I should also add that this car passed the sniffer test at a private inspection shop, and has the correct NJ inspection sticker. I did not buy a sticker for it. The 700r4 is stock with about 130,000 miles, but it runs/shifts perfectly. No slipping. This car can chirp second gear and the transmission is stock. When I got it, I drained the fluid and it was red, unburnt. The fluid is bright red which is an indication the transmission is in good shape. The car also has a 4.10:1 gearset with a posi unit which came with the car when I got it. I put over $3000 into this car, closer to $4000, and I've kept all my reciepts. I bought the car for $5500. The work to the car has also been documented via pictures. I'm not dead set on selling this car, since it will just sit, so I'm not looking to give it away. I have compiled a list of modifications to the car, If I find I forgot anything I may update it. LT1 350, bored .030" for 355 cubic inches Canton Racing Pan Forged Speed Pro Pistons and new rings New Rod, Main, Cam bearings ARP Rod Bolts Crankshaft cut .010" Main Bearings Line honed Rotating Assembly Balanced for new pistons Deck cut .010 Short block assembled by Ray of Raz Performance Machine Cylinder heads cut, reassembled with new valvesprings to match the new cam Iron B-body heads, said to flow better than LT1 Aluminum heads crane 227 camshaft High volume oil pump and pickup to match canton pan New gaskets all around New water pump Headers Throttle body airfoil Throttle body coolant bypass 700r4 transmission 4.10 gearset and posi rear two catalytic converters before X pipe In line electric fuel pump Dual Exhaust with flowmaster 40 series mufflers A/C delete pulley and F-body accessory routing New Alternator B&M Ratchet Shifter Polyurethane Transmission mount 1993 F-body wiring harness, ECM, and Fuse box ECM PROM chip from PCM for less based on engine characteristics Lokar Throttle Cable K&N Air Filter MSD Blaster Coil $6000 Firm The car has 73000 miles on it. I should add that the car will come with many extras, including the original a/c compressor and evaporator, an unpainted fiberglass hood that needs a little work, and a few other little odds and ends. I was willing to accept a trade, but I bought a new truck so I will no longer be able to accept a trade unless its some type of screaming deal I would be able to flip and make money on. So, heres some pictures. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/S3010052.jpg http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/S3010055.jpg http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/S3010056.jpg http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/S3010060.jpg http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/S3010059.jpg http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/S3010061.jpg |
interior shots please
|
I don't have many interior pictures right now, but I can get some more next time I go home in a week or two. The interior is in good shape. I redid the headliner, put a stock style rear view mirror in it, and re-dyed a bunch of parts since these pictures, including the glove box. Also I installed a new heater core, which is a pain to do in these cars. The floor is solid. I also added carpet to the trunk just to make it look a little nicer.

I'd like to add that i'm sort of focused on a C4 vette, and i've seen a couple i like. I have quite a few extras for this car including a fiberglass hood, a/c compressor and evaporator, a set of Crager SS wheels in pretty good shape, the original 3.42 gears that came with the car in good shape.
I should have interior pictures this weekend. Edit No longer accepting trades |
