R.I.P. Patrick Swayze

he has lost his battle with cancer.

:werd: RIP, he will be missed. He was a helluva fighter against that disease too - outlived his original prognosis by over a year, I think. Cancer has to be one of the most painful ways to die. My wife is a hospice nurse and has seen a lot of families destroyed by some form of it.

Godspeed Mr. Swayze.

jims69camaro 09-15-2009 03:13 PM

aw, crap. that means they will be using some other actor to finish the beast? it's a tv show on a&e, i believe. it was his latest project and he was doing a helluva job in it, too. maybe they had the second season in the can before he got the big C.

he's a beloved actor who died too young. he will most certainly live on in his work, though. nice little legacy there.
