Emissions ftw!
Glad to see you would be not polluting. |
shorty ebay headers x2 ftl?
yeah, what is the point. From everything I have read I bet they have no noticeable gain from later model (00-02?) stock manifolds.
stock cats/y-pipe are probably far more of an issue. |
The car is a 99, so anything might be a help...
Is that was the mounts to? a flange like that on the y? |
those wont help. yup those look like the right flanges
Those are short, I wouldnt even waste the time.
might get a little more bark and a little improvement up high in the rpms
I have a used set of the old Ebay stainless emission's longtubes on my 2000 and they still look great. I think he's LPP now. They are well built headers with T321 stainless which is better than T304. The flanges are real thick. But I don't know if he's doing them with the emission's fittings or not.

if your looking at those.... you might AS well get the factory camaro headers from the 98 camaro neil has a set he might sell...
Looks like a big waste of time for the power gain. and it looks like those things will make changing plugs miserable.
if you can wait a week or 2 i might be taking off my long tubes.
they are t304 stainless i tossing aorund the idea of going turbo since i have a precision 76mm turbo sitting on the shelf not being used. |
I wouldnt waste the time and effort changing to them. Do you have stock headers now?
