Emissions ftw!

Glad to see you would be not polluting.

SamhainZ28 09-16-2009 11:03 PM

shorty ebay headers x2 ftl?

BonzoHansen 09-16-2009 11:03 PM

yeah, what is the point. From everything I have read I bet they have no noticeable gain from later model (00-02?) stock manifolds.

stock cats/y-pipe are probably far more of an issue.

The car is a 99, so anything might be a help...

Is that was the mounts to? a flange like that on the y?

BonzoHansen 09-16-2009 11:37 PM

those wont help. yup those look like the right flanges

MonmouthCtyAntz 09-17-2009 06:02 AM

Those are short, I wouldnt even waste the time.

sweetbmxrider 09-17-2009 07:09 AM

might get a little more bark and a little improvement up high in the rpms

I have a used set of the old Ebay stainless emission's longtubes on my 2000 and they still look great. I think he's LPP now. They are well built headers with T321 stainless which is better than T304. The flanges are real thick. But I don't know if he's doing them with the emission's fittings or not.

Jared1970Chevelle 09-30-2009 08:23 PM

if your looking at those.... you might AS well get the factory camaro headers from the 98 camaro neil has a set he might sell...

KirkEvil 09-30-2009 08:31 PM

Looks like a big waste of time for the power gain. and it looks like those things will make changing plugs miserable.

S.J.SLEEPER 09-30-2009 08:49 PM

if you can wait a week or 2 i might be taking off my long tubes.
they are t304 stainless
i tossing aorund the idea of going turbo since i have a precision 76mm turbo sitting on the shelf not being used.

blueshark123 10-01-2009 01:58 PM

I wouldnt waste the time and effort changing to them. Do you have stock headers now?

98tadriver 10-01-2009 03:54 PM
