1st few scenes of the 1st vid, incline club, brick public skate park, and slayerville? wait maybe not. deff incline club, its like 15 minutes from me and i haven't been there in years
that rail vid is hilarious  rest are pretty sweet, your bro is pretty good! that vid on vimeo is sick i don't have any videos but i'll throw a couple pics from my facebook up cause i like them :) http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._1972266_n.jpg http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._3850942_n.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...15415_3648.jpg http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...15418_4531.jpg http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...15419_4839.jpg http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...15420_5135.jpg yaaa |
yep youre most definately correct on naming most of those parks. TIC is hhugeee now. some of the other footage was from tennessee or fla parks. pretty sweet pics dude! wheres those trails at? i dunno if my bro rides trails anymore but my friend kev little and cj do. cj would probably do whips and attempt flips. kev little would whip, maybe 3 whip them and possibly 720. hes landed 7's in the past

nice vids ron....also seen what your bro can do in person...pretty sick stuff man.
from autumn to ashes ftw too  |
thats nuts. right up the street from my house 8-)
they are a little overgrown now. its kinda sandy too so it was only a 3 pack on the big side. i'll go back there and see whats up with them. shoot a couple overall pics. |
thanks jay. and adam, i also heard there were trails like right off the parkway somewhere near you. do u know anything about that?
hmmm i'll have to ask around. there is an amazing set this kid built in the woods by his house. if we bring cable cutters and some bats i'm sure he will let us ride them  but seriously they are something to see. i'll venture back there too when i get a chance. bout 5-10 minute ride from my house
Hackettstown skate park? I used to go there back in middle school
Your bro's pretty good...Use to race my GT back in the day...never got into the freestyle stuff.
yeah my trails by my house are pretty shot  definitely need some hard labor and they would be decent again....
i used to ride trails, but got hurt too much, too often. my right scapula (shoulderblade) got fractured in two places back in april 03. tuffed it out thru the weekend then finally went to the doc that following monday to get the xray and the news. said i was lucky though. he said most people usually completely break it and need surgery. milk ftw! pretty sure i cracked my collarbone another time but it wasnt completely broken thru or sticking out so i never got it checked out lol
hahaha holy **** ron. yeah you can definitely get ****ed up but its so fun hangin out in the woods and you can change a hit in a couple hours, not even!
yeah man i always liked working on trails. always a good feeling after youre done working on them and they workout perfectly!
Been to hackettstown a few times in the 90's when I rode. I preferred trails better.Crashing sucks, but it was fun. I used to ride in tails by Horseshoe lake in roxbury, behind my parents house and a few in Jefferson. Not much remains, but you can still see remnants of the one behind the house.
Wish I never traded the S&M Pitch forks w/ the girl sticker on the side. A fellow named Sonny has then. He rides at the Hackettstown park a bit. |
yeah it sucks when you get out of a hobby you had so much fun with
ron you ever ride area 51? |

oo to show how far bmx has come along since 2002-2003, my bike weighs 35lbs and my brothers bike and his friends bikes are all around the 26lb and under range lol. i still have the 44tooth profile blackjack on mine haha. kink freebird ryan sher frame 21" top tube, odysee dirt forks, 48spoke primo hula hoop wheels, poverty pow 3pc crank, s&m redneck stem, scenester bars (dunno who makes them but they were on clearance lol) KMC 415H chain, odysee jim beam seatpost, i forget the name of the seat i have, but its old and tired lol. and im just running 2 pegs, i cant remember the name of them. odysee goldfinger brakelever and odysee linear cable, and a decent rear brake setup. brakes were dialed in at Eds bike shop in vineland years ago and still work great to this day ! i might try to lighten the bike up a bit or go with something new. (not brand new but new to me) with a euro bottom bracket. and probably in a 21" top tube, 20.6 minimum
i had a profile blackjack too!! loved that chainwheel
I had 2 bikes
first is a Redline II form the 80's. had bullseye hubs and 2x wall araya ? rims. Had some 3 pc crank I broke the arm to a few times. (square spindle) I think the arms were magnesium. the second is a Kastan XL, s&m redneck stem, JAD cranks, some other stuff and the rims from the above bike. still have both. The lightest bike I ever road was my freind's Elf. |
Great Pics and Vids. makes me wanna get on the 20inch again.......but then again im old, fat and fragile now lol!!!
i remember redlines back in the day!! lol. hey adam is area 51 where jennings used to ride?
