Thanks for the info. How much is admission and how many runs do you normally squeeze in? I've never been to Island before, just e-town once during the summer when the car was stock; curious to see what the car is capable of now.

10 to watch, 25 to race. If you don't get 5 runs in at Island while waiting 2 hours to let your car cool you pretty much fail. :nod:

That sounds awesome to me. I only got 3 runs in at Etown and had to wait an hour in the hot ass sun between each run. :(
Definitely looking forward to this! Hopefully I can make it out there on friday.

Idk if its just me or the track but my buddies experience the same. My times and 60 foots are always faster at etown. Sure I get more passes at island but idk

Melissa has cut a 1.7 60' on KDWs. Whiplash cut a 1.8 I think 60' on street radials in his camm'd/3600 stall GTO. I fail to see how the track is consistent terrible. Last Friday it was open, with the dew, the first car out yanked a wheel. Hardly what I would call a terrible track.

I guess it's just me then. I have cut better 60 foots consistently at etown. Idk

ok im out. talking to nick my car wont pass inspection. My battery tray is more rotted than it leads on to be. there is no more bolt holding it on so my batt is just sitting there unmounted. so i need to get it fixed before any track time :(
