While the design is cool, I was not impressed with the quality of interior. Compared to the Mustang and Camaro, it seemed full of cheap hard plastic all around.

Sporty looking car, just needs a different interior color.

Nice car...it got destroyed by a 370z in a head to head.

I drove the 4 cyl turbo. I really liked it.

I love the brown inserts and seats.
IMO, GM needs to offer different color interiors. Only car I can recall in recent times in GM's line up that had that was the GTO. Cobalt had a red interior, and Camaro has an orange interior option, as well as a beige and silver, but outside of black, silver, beige...there is no other options. Even the Mustang got some interesting color options this year. |

i personally liked the car, it wasnt that bad at all wen i test drove it, it seemed to handle pretty well and could take a turn

Yeah its getting good press. Its downsides to me are its weak fuel economy. For a small light car it gets worse gas mileage then camarov6. The turbo is the big news.

I checked it out at the dealer (was debating picking up a Sonata, but ended up getting my Vue back, long story) and realized why I think the car won't succeed. The car is no longer Tiburon priced, it is now Mustang, Camaro, and 370z priced. Most people will spring for the bigger name, because people in that market are trying to impress. In the automotive world, we know Hyundai is competitive, but if you ask someone like say my sister, she automatically thinks junk. Even if someone loved the Genesis, it isn't novel any longer, it isn't "cool" like the other three mentioned above with racing heritage, and still carries the stigma. That is why I think it won't continue strong sales. It was still necessary for Hyundai to do to get their name out there in the performance market.

my next door neighbor is at the dealer right now picking up his 4cyl turbo genesis. Can't wait to drive it, wouldn't want one though.
