wiring fuel pump for 85TA
 
Just found out i need to rewire the fuel pump. theres no power gettin to it so it wont run unless i directly connect it to a power supply. need massive help

I dont know anything about 3rd gens, but you could provide a little more info for others to help

1 is it an aftermarket pump or stock
2 has it been tampered with in any way
3 what have you checked...fuses, relay, harness?

yea, first check fuses. There's also a fuse near near the battery. Its right off the main harness coming off the positive side, in a weather pack connector. Check that one.

wait, in the ever so confusing thread in the general tech section, it seems that this used to be carb and went TPI?

Can you tell us exactly what the deal is besides "it doesn't work". What all was changed, if it was changed?
