this winter im going to build it up. by then i will have a company truck and not have to worry about transportation. i want to do it now but for my situation now really isnt the time even though i can afford to do it.

the engine is out now. save yourself the hassle if you can. if the car really needs to come back on the road, then yeah why not

thanks for the compliments. yeah i love the valve covers too. they came in a weird color so i sprayed a layer of black on them then finally i painted them "cast iron" i didn't paint the intake because i need to use the one off of my car because the fuel lines come in on the other side and there is a crossover piece on my 96ta rails so i couldn't just swap rails. i plan on doing the intake/throttle body black and sanding down the lines on top and having them polished

^^^ your car is going to be a race car... I.E. more dents and grease under the hood the better... no pretty stuff... and that vette motor is ever soo clean... nice find.. good luck... if it runs half as good as it looks your in business...
