different lids ?

What is the difference in a 98-99 SLP lid as opposed to a 01-02 Lid ? I can get a lid for 01 Z28 real cheap ,but mine is an 98 Z. I am also putting a LS6 intake on if that matters. If it wont work on the stock intake , will it work on the LS6 intake ? Sorry for the newby ?'s

The difference in the lids is on the 01/02 cars the lid has a hole cutout on the drivers side of the lid for the AIR tube.

LS6 style vs LS1 intake doesnt matter.

Get the cheap SLP lid(hopefully $50 or less) and either put a plug or tape to cover the opening, or swap it with somebody who has an 00-02 that has the 98-99 style lid and could use it.
