I've cut 1.57 short times with a 275/40R17 ET street radial... on Tubular LCAs and a Tubular non adju panhard bar...

The times are on the brakes @ 1000'. My 1/8 mile MPH is better then my 1/4. ;)

It is possible to hit 11's with that mph but being a 6spd car its gonna be hard to do, especially if you still have the stock rear and suspenion. You're gonna have to leave hard!!! If your car was an auto you'd be in the 11's all day with that mph. Generally speeking, a manual car will have to trap higher to ET the same as an auto so that means you're gonna have to work harder. Knock that 60ft down 2 tenths and you'll see an 11

looks like a clutch will be needed after the 20th then:-P

imjustinlampe 10-21-2009 11:44 AM

...higher trap mph is because the car has a high amount of horsepower... if you have a lower trap speed.. but a low time... your car has a greater amout of tourque over horsepower...

well you were right if i could knock a whole 2 tenths of i would break out of the 12's. went 12.05 with a 1.83 60ft. but my clutch is spent. i even let another guy take it down the track just to see if maybe it was the way i drive it and he agreed if i put a clutch in it i should be out of the 12 second club
