transmaro93 11-02-2009 05:53 PM

The silver Camaro in the first pic is NOT the Z28....it's a twin turbo v6 designed by GM, with input from Jay Leno: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50381

WoW!!! so many awsome ideas on each camaro for the msot part, denfinately liking the black hurst camaro, would look better with a taller cowl hood and a spoiler that just slopes off the deck lid.

That green is the new Atomic Green that will replace the Aqua Blue Metailc.

The twin turbo V6 Camaro is a great idea, and possibly a great idea for a Z28...

According to the Camaro page on facebook it's a limited production color for next year

Man, I hope not. Create the option but call it something else.

sweetbmxrider 11-03-2009 10:29 AM

yeah really. z28 needs balls, 8 of em.

Savage_Messiah 11-03-2009 10:51 AM

From what I have heard they haven't ruled out the possibility of another performance oriented Buick, but they have said no GNX.

thatd be hot, take a camaro chassis, twin turbo 3.6DI and throw a retro GN lookin body on it

BigAls87Z28 11-03-2009 08:19 PM

Wont happen. Regal is coming back next year, but it will be an exact copy of the European Car of the Year Opel Insigna.
They do make an AWD, turbo 6 326hp 6spd manual version in Europe, but Fritz already said it wont wear a GNX badge, even if it does get built here for the US.

The Twin Turbo 3.6 is making 425hp, just about the same as the LS3 (1hp off).
Wrap it in a lighter body, upgraded brakes and suspension...I dont see why it cant be a Z28? I like that idea better then a big honkin supercharged 4200lbs car wearing teh Z badge...

A TT six just doensn't seem to fit to me. But I'm a stickler for heritage.

Knipps 11-03-2009 08:34 PM

A TT 6 = flop if that's the Z28

LS1ow 11-03-2009 09:44 PM

i TT6 doesnt make sense for a z28. the last number is the amount of cylenders. z24 cavalier, z26 berreta, z28 camaro. same as the dodge with the SRT line. correct?

but im not feelin the hood on the "z28" dont like the vents

As stated earlier in this thread, that's not the Z28. and the Z28 is just an RPO code, it doesn't actually stand for anything.
