fuel rail problem

im installing a set of fast fuel rails on my fast intake manifold. when install it do i need a fuel pressure regulator to keep everything working properly?

what year ls1?
first year used a regulator
2nd year& on used a damper on the rail which is not needed and the fuelpump module has a built in regulator on it.
if unsure look under your car @ the fuel filter there will be a T-block that has you main line runnin into and outof it and a line returning to the tank. if you have that then you have a intank reg. and no need for a external.

if planning on running boost than a boost referenced fpr is a good idea

FYI it's a 98 with a rear mount STS kit

well here is the list he should have:

boost ref'd fpr (preferbly aeromotive) raises f.p. 1:1 ratio
walbro pump or larger
kenne belle boostapump or msd is a if running 8+psi (ls's tend to need lots of fuel up top 5500+rpms
42-60lb injectors (depends on boost & head/cam setup)

i got 42lb injectors, and the racetronix fuel pump & wiring harness. ill have to invest in the fuel pressure regulator.
