Mechanical fuel pump?

Has anyone used a mechanical fuel pump made by Stewart race pumps?
If so how do you like it. Do you have any vapor lock problems or bleed down issues? I want to get rid of my electric pump in the worst way.

I haven't used a Stewart fuel pump but their water pumps seem to be pretty good.
