Well, stance looks good

Yeah, I know the tire is low. Headers are temporaries generously lent to me by Bonzo so I won't abuse my silver ones. Great to make some progress for sure.

Nice work! Whens it gonna hit the road?

WildBillyT 11-04-2009 07:38 PM

Gotta finish the cam break in, then finish the brake lines, torque up the suspension, set the pinion angle, get a driveshaft and some other odds and ends. Spring cruising is the goal.

man that looks good!! not to be a stickler but that alternator painted/cleaned up would be soooo much better :)

Absolutely! Alternator is a 37A POS. On there so I can run a belt.

This is not close to final- it's just so I can get the cam broken in and get the running gear on.

hey,
why not run a serp belt system?
if so i might have some pulleys laynin around from my race car that i sold , that you can have,
also have a bunch of arp engine bolts polished/chrome that are new left over from project that i have no use for.
you can have that stuff too. if youd like
p.m. your address and i'll send you a bunch of misc. stuff you can use .
i'm cleanin out the garage and stuff just taken up room

p.s. obvoiusly hardware is standard not metric, thats why have no use for it anymore since all these new LScrap fbody's are mostly metric

That's a nice looking Omega. I know where there is a 455 Olds, if you wanna get rid of the weak Chevy engine and keep yer Olds "all" Olds!

HAHA! It's surprising how many Olds parts DON'T fit!

FWIW, here's a crappy cell phone vid right before I shut it off after the break in period:
