they look great

sweetbmxrider 11-15-2009 12:01 PM

very nice. what size valves? what springs?

heavy_chevy29 11-15-2009 01:32 PM

im pretty sure they are 2.02 and 1.60 valves. Maitre might have put bigger ones in. im not sure. im not to sure about the springs either. the guy building the engine has all the specs right now. they match the big ass cam thats going in this thing. we are going to be spinning the **** outa this thing

sweetbmxrider 11-15-2009 02:19 PM

hahaha awesome!

Rebuilding the 434, or starting with something else?

- Justin

heavy_chevy29 11-15-2009 06:23 PM

re-doing the 434. 15:1 compression , on alky, with a moster cam. we are hoping for high(possibly mid) 9s. should sound real nasty

Tru2Chevy 11-15-2009 06:39 PM

Nice!

Sounds like a nasty build, heads look great!

Anti_Rice_Guy 11-15-2009 07:04 PM

Very nice Dan! Gave up with figuring out what was happening before when it fell on its face after the launch?

heavy_chevy29 11-16-2009 05:54 AM

the guy that just did these heads told my engine builder that none of my exhaust valves were fulling seating(thank you scott shafiroff). so im assuming thats where i was loosing the time. everything else in the engine looked ok. but this new setup is going to be awsome.
