i drove to school (fine) came out and drove home and istarted like ... jumping almost.. i would keep the rpm steady at 3000 and its like the car would stop and go.. almost like trans would catch and slip but the thing is the rpms would stay steady... at times i would be flooring it aand be going 60mph and start slowing down.??

id say trans is going or a stretch would be a clogged cat. my old 95 STS had a clogged cat and the thing gave all symptoms of a bad trans. sorry i cant be of more help.

I had the same issue on one of my parents cars... it ended up being a piece of metal in the exhaust had bent up and was almost clogging the airflow... sounds like the same thing as the post above to me

FUGG.

see the reason i dont think its the trans is cause if it were you would think the RPMS would rais as i was driving and then drop when it "catches" but the rpms are staying steady (low but steady)

i was thinking it was something fuel related like maybe dirty fuel injecters or something?

im gonna try to clean those first and then take it from there.
