Giants/Cowboys...

I have to say the Giants looked pretty damn good. Definitely just made the NFC East a 3 team race.

iamsickofitall 12-06-2009 06:18 PM

they did look pretty good despite some bad play calling on defense and eli being braindead. they definitely gave me something to smile about today...so far

Frosty 12-06-2009 06:33 PM

The outcome was good, Eagles tied for the division lead and Romo had a big game for my fantasy team.

Ideally I wish both teams got the swine flu and played to a tie but God isn't that kind.

Good to see the Cowboys lose....sucks that the 49ers seemed to choke in the 2nd half after playing so well in the first. Davis let the game winning TD slip through his hands and bounce off of his helmet. Oh well.....

Dallas could be in big trouble. They play San Diego next week, New Orleans after that, Redskins in WA and finish against the Eagles. Giants look to control their own destiny at this point in time but watching the defense give up some wide open passes still shows how suspect they are.

the giants or the eagles will win that division. romos stats were great today but he missed some wide open recievers. and the giants were just hungry for a win because a lose today would most likely have beeen the giants season.

weird day again, pitts losing to oakland, wash talking n.o. to OT.

and belicheck is a azz for not kicking a field goal at the end of the half. ended up the difference in the game:twisted:

I think he is too full of himself now and it is costing him and his team. I am not a fan of the Patriots but they should be better than their record, damn coaches!

he is full of himself. i think that failed attempt to beat the colts has him going crazy on us fans  his failed call lost the game today!! i hope he can't sleep tonight

Giants won. Cowboys and Patriots lost. I'm happy.

Adam, Brandon and I were watching it at Fridays.
Romo can look like a superstar one pass, the next he looks like a pop warner qb.

That punt return was amazing. The tackling, or lack there of, was worse.

Romo blew it in the last seconds of the game too.

BurninrubberGT 12-06-2009 10:03 PM

nfc east sucks in general

lol you just described romo...horribly inconsistent...especially late in the year. as for blowing it in the last seconds...id say the skins and the 9ers did that....not the cowboys. they were nowhere near winning it

wretched73 12-06-2009 10:25 PM

Hmm denver seems to be looking up, no?

BigAls87Z28 12-06-2009 11:00 PM

Cowboys had a chance to come back, but they blew the game.
It was a different game then last time...but wow, Cowboys sucked on it.
The December bell has struck again.

98tadriver 12-07-2009 12:55 AM

i believe i heard romo and the cowboys are like 5-10 from december-on. and romo has a 72 for a qb rating in that time period.

eagles did pretty darn good, despite a few personal foul/unnecessary roughness calls. a few of which were bad calls if u ask me. it seems like ever since the concussion stuff got more serious, if u go helmet to helmet with a guy, your gonna get penalized :rollseye: i understand it might be wrong if u hit a fella with the crown of your helmet after he's down, but come on refs!

Saitin 12-07-2009 01:16 AM

a bad team will make any team look good

Frosty 12-07-2009 08:04 AM

Ron, some of those calls were weak, luckily it didn't change the game much. It very well could have.

yeah! thank god for the eagles awesome goal line defense in 2nd quarter! i think the falcons moved up about 30yrds from the unnecessary roughness/personal foul crap on their final drive of the 1st half lol

Slow-V6 12-07-2009 05:21 PM

All I have to say is Homo and the Cowgirls in December = fail!! Its a good thing Tony Homo went to Vegas for a little vacation last week!! He never learns!! Maybe he should start putting off his little Vacations till after the season or hell even after they win a game in December!!

Slow-V6 12-07-2009 05:24 PM

Who was that Cowboy fan from last week that got into it with me? Were is he at this week?

just a bad game every one has a one I am hoping it isn't a start of there downfall, but hey it's farve he never pulls through when it counts late in the season I've been expecting the ball to drop the last 2 games, but hey 10-2 is still better then the cowgirls and eagles.

BigAls87Z28 12-07-2009 09:01 PM

Thing is, Romo had a great game! And Whitten pulled down a carrer game!
There was a sick-ass hold durring the Jacobs touchdown.
