Sal & I go hiking every month, were part of a wilderness group that puts together good hikes just about every month. I'll forward you the next on via FB.

About 2 weeks ago we spent about 5 hours or so hiking Sunrise peak which is the second highest peak in New Jersey.

i wanted to do a New England tour next fall for a week to take in the foliage and see the sights. One of my ideas is to peak Mount Washington in NH. haven't done any outdoor related activities for a while :(

i love long distance backpacking and just started doing freelance photography for a few outdoor websites so i get to go all the time now. but for winter single day hike my choice would be ricketts glen, its a nice little hike that goes through a valley where 11 water falls meet in one spot all around you and when it gets cold they all freeze it looks amazing and you can see the water flowing inside the ice. you just need to be careful the trail get narrow on the side of the cliffs and does freeze over, so bring a rope. It's a popular ice climbing spot if you like climbing.
