seems like some of the older yenko's had a little bit of a cowl, i really like how that one is wide and not boxy though

camaro2you 12-13-2009 02:10 PM

Thats an ebay hood isn't it?

S.J.SLEEPER 12-13-2009 02:16 PM

ahhhhhh,,,,, you f***in copycat. thats the hood thats goin on my car.
it was a hard choice between a aero coyl and that, but i think that 2.5 wide cowl is a lil more classy

BigRocsFirebird 12-13-2009 02:20 PM

looks like Arock's

69BirdX 12-13-2009 02:25 PM

Looks great. But I really like the car they way you got it

maroman88 12-13-2009 02:41 PM

FlyingDutchman 12-13-2009 02:42 PM

doo ittttt looks pretty sweet

deadtrend1 12-13-2009 02:44 PM

stay with what you have, make it go faster

sweetbmxrider 12-13-2009 02:44 PM

i'm a big fan of cowl hoods. maybe a couple vinyls on the side of it too to break up all the white?

agreed

Yuck, do not like the smoothed out cowl hoods, straight 3 inch cowl.

Granted the catfishes are all curvy so eh.

But in the end, a new hood won't make more power for you. Spend the money on a new nitrous kit.

FYI that is just a GM cowl hood optional on 69 Camaros.

I'm sure there is someone out there that will pay a pretty penny for a OEM SS hood. Get this hood, sell SS hood, and then buy more go-fast parts!

Jersey Mike 12-13-2009 03:12 PM

Wow, I really like that

NJ346 12-13-2009 03:13 PM

i don't think it flows with the lines of the body at all...in my opinion this is one of the ugliest aftermarket hoods available for the catfish 4th gen.

JL8Jeff 12-13-2009 03:53 PM

I think it's one of the better hoods for the LS1 cars, the lines work well. Is it worth the money though instead of other go fast parts? If you can sell your SS hood to offset the cost then it's a good tradeoff.

r0nin89 12-13-2009 04:02 PM

Huh I think the Jongbloed hoods match the 4th gen body lines great. Its 3rd gens they are goofy on yet still intriguing looking.

sweetbmxrider 12-13-2009 08:22 PM

weight off the nose is always a good thing.....

LS1ow 12-13-2009 08:55 PM

i like the harwood cowl on a lt1 style. not so much on the ls. id go with a sunoco style. they have a wide version.

BurninrubberGT 12-13-2009 09:25 PM

not bad

Tru2Chevy 12-13-2009 09:25 PM

Not a fan of the Jongbloed style cowl hoods.

its a bit nicer on a bigger screen than a blackberry. I say go for it

KirkEvil 12-13-2009 10:33 PM

I dont like it. It looks just as plain as the stock z28 hood

BigAls87Z28 12-13-2009 11:38 PM

I like it. Looks like it might be stock.
