nah i was talking paint jobs, rims, body kits, stripes, pin stripes, not exactly little stuff ya kno

For little but tasteful mods, I'd vote headlight covers since you have a black car, blackouts for the front corners, and blackouts for the rear marker lights. Cheap, tasteful, and make a world of difference.

Here's my example:

SS hood, and spoiler along with vette rims seem to be the popular choices

i personally like welds with 28" tall rear tires and 24-26" fronts give the car a nice stance, also would go with cowl or ss hood

i LIKE!!!!! i was thinkin that would work great with a hugger orange because my tail lights are blacked out as well and do the light covers damper the light of the headlamps at night??

Yes they are. My dad disagrees, but I'm changing them over this spring and showing him. It's been going on for years .

Yeah, they're cheap mods but go a long way in improving the looks. You have to take them off at night.
1) You can't see a damn thing with them on. Stock LT1 headlights are bad enough as it is.
2) They are illegal when you need to use your headlights (rain, dark..)

they are not headlights, they are covers, which pop off in like 2 seconds

LS1ow 12-15-2009 02:41 PM

harwood 2.5" cowl hood. SS or RK sport wing. and a nice set of wheels. id avoid vette wheels if possible, dont get me wrong they look sick. but everyone has them.

please refer to alex's car for refrence of what lt1 sex on wheels looks like...

usp55 12-21-2009 11:48 AM

Deff get the ss spoiler, 200bucks off shop on ebay painted to match to your door, with factory 3rd light. love the SS hood but alex's hood is nice also.

do some searching on google or yahoo for lt1 pics. so many options

Mike 12-21-2009 12:28 PM

step one. do what you want.

step two, if considering paint, and straying away from an oem color, make sure you have no plans on selling the car, custom paint jobs can hurt resale and limit the market that will be interested in the car.

other than that, what are your plans for the car, performance? just looks? etc.

Blacdout96 12-21-2009 02:59 PM

No, body kits. Camaro's arent supposed to be applying for any F&F sequels. if anything, just get the wings west kit, and your fine. 98-02 SS spoiler in the back, either hood'll do, and either gun metal or black rims with a shiny lip and your set.

Here's a couple photos of my black Camaro.

^^^^That car is beautiful!!

ar0ck 12-21-2009 06:23 PM

Wheels make a huge difference in my opinion. They just have to be done with the correct offsets & tires. The Corvette wheels which a lot of people may think are played out are easily the cheapest to upgrade to and Ebay has a wide variety of styles for prices that you really can't beat. All the good wheels cost quadruple digits.

Brendan713 12-21-2009 08:02 PM

okay. i for sure wanna keep the car paint job original for as long as possible. 10 years i'll paint it lol. I am going to get under pulleys, headers, intake and exhaust for the performance and some other things along the way. For looks im just trying to get away from the stock look but i am def. going to get black rims with chrome stripping around the edges like blacdout96's thats real nice. I dunno man there are just so many options for looks on these cars and i wanna do something that is just like "Damn....."
