4 gen headliner to 3rd gen is it possible?
 

hey was wondering if anyone has done this and if its just a simple install or does it involve custom work. i need a headliner and i can get a 4 gen one and i have a 3rd gen. both are ttops. will it fit or do i need to do some mods to make it fit? just wondering if anyone has tried this yet? thanks for your inputs

i can't image they are even close, although I've never compared one to the other.

i kno the seats and some other things are inter changable thats why i was wondering if that was to.

im iv seen some 3rd gen on tech w/ a complete 4th gen interior, a while back... so im sure its possible... the only way to really find out is to go have a field day one time at ur local salvage yard lol

the t structure built into the roof....the thirdgens are flat. the contours of the 4th gen would absolutely not fit.



besides....the ttops are different shapes and sizes.....not to mention the roof is too. :lol:




edit: dash, console, a few random trim plastics and seats fit perfectly into a 3rd gen

thats what i was going for. i know the ttops are different sizes so i knew from that the headliner was ugh. jsut wanted to get input if i was wrong on that.

The seats are direct bolt ins? No way! :D

Yeah, as everyone else said, no go on the headliner.
