And I can finally be proud to be a Jets fan...

...for the next few days:lol:. It all comes down to the final game of the season and all the Jets have to do is win and their in the playoffs...how about those Giants?...Oh yea...no chance of playoffs for them:wink:

CHRIS67 12-28-2009 10:07 AM

No comments from the Giants fans to us Cowboys fans today either.

You are proud that they beat the Colts back ups for a chance at the playoffs! Dont worry their playoff run, if they get one, will be short lived.

They had a lead for over 4 minutes while all of the colts starters were still in in the beginning of the 3rd quarter. And who cares if they lose first round...they still get to play one more game than the Giants...all with a rookie qb and first year head coach....not bad if you ask me.

yeup since Indy laid down, that gave the Jets the win.

Jets, Ravens, Steelers, Texans, and Broncos are all 8-7

-Steelers are not going to make it into the playoffs. Thats a garuntee.

-Cincinatti is in so they are going to play 2nd string and Jets are going to get their win.

-New England Is going to play hard against Houston since they have a bad start up until 4 games ago. Which is good cause Houstin is 8-7 also.

-Baltimore Plays Oakland, which pretty much means Baltimore will go 9-7.

-Steelers play Miami, and need to win and Baltimore to loose against Oakland, and the Jets to Loose and pretty much everyone else in the AFC to lose.

-Broncos play Kansas City ........ so .. yea

Yes, from a kick return. Then the Colts marched back down the field and handed the game to their second string with a five point lead. If Manning was in that fumble for a touchdown would never have happened and all you Jets fans would be crying. BUT it still counts as a win, so you still have hope.

I will be cheering for the Jets. To be the team to knock off a undefeated team with or without there starters is a great accomplishment.

procamaroz28 12-28-2009 01:03 PM

yes u can lol

JL8Jeff 12-28-2009 01:21 PM

I would like to thank the Giants for not prolonging the pain this season. Unlike the Jets, Eagles and Dallas. San Diego looks like the team on the best roll at this point.

baddest434 12-28-2009 02:57 PM

yeah vinnie you can be proud to be a jet fan if you like but

maybe you should change your s/n....NJNETSFAN (2-27) i would'nt admit that

The Colts gave the Jets a late Christmas present with that win. The Colts would have pulled off the victory if they kept their starters in.

BurninrubberGT 12-28-2009 06:52 PM

a win is a win, no matter how you get it

it was a smart move by the colts. they saw that houston won and theyd rather see the jets control their playoff destiny then hand a dangerous team (houston) a playoff birth

Wow, the Jets came to play tonight.

Will the Bengals benefit from this next week or are the Jets just that good. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Bangals were ready to lay down and let the Jets win just in case the Steelers were going to make it in the playoffs

Yeah I know. I cant stand these teams giving up at the end of the season. No offense to anyone but chances are this game would be meaningless if the Colts actually played last week. Athletes are babied too much, you didnt see this bull crap back in the day.

NJ346 01-03-2010 09:45 PM

should be a good game next weekend. It'll be interesting to have 2 rematch games on the same day(Bengals/Jets) and (Eagles/Cowboys).

I love how people think the bengirls laid down...the jets shut their starters down in the first half, and the best oline in the league destroyed their d, if u watched the game, you saw the bengirls stack 7-8 guys in the box every down and still let up over 200 yds rushing. The jets have he #1 defense and the #1 rush offense, this was no suprise.

But they do not have a #1 QB. I'm a Giants fan, but I always like to see the Jets do well. However, Sanchez is a rookie and has had a mediocre season at best. Their D is good, but nothing like the '00 Ravens or teams like that where the QB didn't need to be all that good for the team win. I'm not expecting much from them in the playoffs, but stranger things have happened.

I'd be happy with a win next weekend....I don't see them going much farther unless sanchez starts waking up and playing a little better.

Maybe change your username?

And another thing to add, Ryan planed against the bengirls twice a year in Baltimore, so he knows this team well, over the past 3 games when the bengirls played a Rex Ryan defense, they average 4.3 points
