Wahooo, card tables are coming to PA casinos....

....hopefully no one has stock in any AC casinos because it's about to get worse for them. The House passed the card table bill. Poker, craps and roulette should be in the casinos around 6 months from now.:nod::nod::nod::nod::nod::nod:

I'm still on the fence about it being "lucky me". I'm still on unemployment and money is hella tight....but yeah....10 minute drive compared to over an hour to AC...I'm screwed

just got home from philly park... i hate slots, but i put 40 bucks in and took 600 bucks home, so they are ok for one day.

once they have tables (poker) ill probably be there at least 2 times a week

Frosty 01-06-2010 11:45 PM

Yeah I can't stand slots...boring...no skill. I've only been to the park twice. Once the tables go in I think I'm in trouble, lol.

no I live IN AC now, but I also work in AC... no people coming here means no people to tow, means no money for me

Interestingly enough, that's how I read your post. Less people in AC = less people to tow = less money for Bubba.

Yea, I guess you had to know what Bubba does for a living to get it.

And to stay on topicish - I have been meaning to check out the PA casinos, haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll have to pop over one of these days and see the before / after.

with the events and stuff that ac has, this probably wont have too much on the overall traffic in ac, it will only hit the gaming industry

Little G 01-08-2010 06:48 AM

This is really going to kill AC I think. Hopefully they'll improve their comp program, though. Not that it really matters for me much anymore, but nice for visits.

I still perfer going to to AC, but the new PAX is pretty nice looking now, was at the Mohegan Sun in Wilkes-Barre over the holidays, probably won't go back there - too small.

Funny, seems like allot more drunks in the PA casinos then in AC???

if you have ever drank the comped drinks you know why  when we were there last week it was coke with a hint of some bottom shelf spiced rum.. and mostly ice... but im sure an initial alcohol investment on the PA casinos part to make a good impression should keep people coming back
