i need to replace the weather stripping on the door area and on the edge of the t-tops themselves. i was wondering where can i purchase these parts from other than a dealership?

I would HIGHLY suggest getting the t-top weatherstrip right from GM. Most experiences with aftermarket rubber for that area include complaints of leaks, drips, runs, etc. I replaced mine with GM rubber about 8 years ago and still have zero leaks on my tops.
The doors....Hawks is definitely a great source.
