Stupid question- and you are replacing it with the same amp rated fuse?

rightCOASTriot 01-18-2010 04:19 PM

yes, and tried with a higher amp fuse as well

have you installed anything recently that you might have tapped into that circuit? is it the illumination fuse thats popping?

rightCOASTriot 01-18-2010 11:10 PM

well i just bought the car and it is kind of an electrical nightmare, but nothing is going into the fuse for the lights.....does anyone know if the odbII port is on the same fuse?

Where do your pillar gauges connect to? I did mine off of the regular light circuit so they turn on and dim with the rest of the car.

the pillar gauges connect to the same circut as the radio, I noticed that all other 96 v6 firebirds have a 110 mph speedo, mines 120....could someone have replaced the speedo with the wrong one???
