Installed NEW Battery-Does computer need to relearn?

Just put a new 7 year AC Delco battery into the Bird today. Old battery was out for about 4 hours. Any problem with the computer learning all the old codes all over again?

You may need to reset your clock and radio.

It should not have to relearn. If you have the THEFTLOCK enabled (if it's on your radio) make sure you have the code handy. You can crack it but it's easier to just do it the right way.

Yes, but it is not anything you really need to worry about and should only take a small amount of driving. Most noticable is the idle, might stall, idle high or even be a bit hard starting for the first few times you drive it until the AIC (Air inlet control) is set. The LTBL (long Term Block Lean = fuel trim) will set as you drive over various conditions but that is not something you will feel, the ECM just needs to adjust the tables for the air fuel ratios.
