Always love that fresh machined look. Is that a 4 bolt main LT1 block? what kind of build do you have planned

yepp 4 bolt lt1 block. stock bottom end and stock cubic inch with a cc306 cam(.510 lift) trickflow 185 heads. hooker supercomp longtube headers, hooker y pipe, magnaflow hi flow cat, borla catback, slp intake, tune, #30 injectors, comp cams pro magnum roller rockers, 160 t-stat, electric waterpump, dbl roller timing chain, hurst shifter and planted with nitto 555r drag radials.

Looks good. Invest in a lt4 Knock module too :) I my car ran like **** with my roller rockers . Untill I got it.

I wouldn't worry too much about rods and pistons if you're staying mostly stock. LT1 rods are decent. Its the rod studs you should worry about. The pistons are good also for a stock rebuild as long as they measure out ok. If I had stuck with a stock bore I would have used the stock pistons also. Definitly a new set of rings though.

Very nice! I picked my block up a couple weeks ago but it will be sitting on the stand for a little bit until the funds allow me to move forward the way I want. Mine won't be a stock rebuild though :devil:

Cool! lots of LT1's going together! My shortblock is sitting on the stand, should be back in the car next month and hopefully ready for racing come April.
