looks pretty sweet

LTb1ow 01-31-2010 07:41 PM

The price just makes me wary...

sweetbmxrider 01-31-2010 07:48 PM

you scare me. motors go bad. see if they sell replacements or whats the story if it craps out. then pretend you bought one and it went bad. see if they are still cool.

the parts must be junk for that price, i cant see the motor lasting too long

I agree. You get what you pay for IMO.

1. for the price, I bet the bearings and motor box are poor quality. The motor and box used probably has a plastic gear against a metal worm gear...that will strip.

2. It looks like they rattle canned the entire thing

3. They sell steel wool as an extra, and say you should get down there and clean it monthly.

4. They claim to have sold thousands of these, but there are no reviews on it.

5. Its named Switch-n-blast

Seriously? Maybe Toys R Us has them in stock.

sweetbmxrider 01-31-2010 09:05 PM

well i could see using the steel wool to clean the inevitable carbon build up

FlyingDutchman 01-31-2010 09:11 PM

cant choose any level in between? i like that about the qtp one i have

sweetbmxrider 01-31-2010 09:16 PM

if you use a 3 position switch, i don't see why not.

LTb1ow 01-31-2010 09:18 PM

Really doesn't matter to me, I just need loud and not.
