Do you have a design in mind? If so can you send me some pics. I dont want to steal your idea or anything, I have been messing with an airbrush for the past couple weeks and could use a challenge. Im not saying I can or cant do what you are looking for, I would just like to try it for myself. Thanks, Matt.

http://image.motortrend.com/f/editor...r-trans-am.jpg but some how adapted to a bike

JerzLT1 02-13-2010 12:43 AM

i want each fairing to look like it has screws in it, among a few other aircraft specific things (im an F16 mechanic)

I'll mess around tomorrow and see what I come up with. I have a magazine with a Black 69 Camaro with the screw look around all the edges, it looks sick. Thanks.

I'll second the recommendation for Jack at CarJackd....if you can't get his info let me know and I'll dig up his email address. He's the ONLY person I'll let do any paint work for me besides doing my own. His airbrush work is second to none.

JerzLT1 02-16-2010 12:19 AM

well the only thing that would need to be air brushed would be the screws, i want the camo to be solid colors with clear lines (similar to the car but in proportion to the size of the bike obviously)

mc73nova 02-21-2010 12:51 AM

Not that you want me to do it for you but Im gonna give it a go tomorrow on a helmet, I said I was gonna do it a while ago but I have no motivation lately. I'll post some pics tomorrow night if I think it looks worthy, if I screw it up royaly I wont post any!

I was doing some research so I could do my best to duplicate it and realized that they arent actually screws. It looks more like its meant to be like a rivet, either way Im going to do it like the pic below. This is a close up of that car.

Contact Wolfblitz he knows a local guy, maybe he can get you intouch with him.

JerzLT1 02-22-2010 05:48 PM

yeah but a real aircraft uses 90% screws. on an F16 almost every panel has to be removable for inspections. i think i changed my mind about the camo part, only because it would be too hard to match gear. maybe a grey like an F16
