has anyone ever seen or done torque trust 2's in all black without the chrome lip? i'm thinking about doing it to change the look of my car a bit. also could someone photoshop it for me.

Sorry i dont have the photoshop skills to help, but i think that would look pretty badass if done right

NastyEllEssWon 02-18-2010 08:40 AM

lol you dont have TT2's, you have TT-M's ;) i happen to think the chrome lip looks very very very very very very nice on your car. i might be a bit biased though

I think I recently saw a set on ebay or in the appearance section of Tech; guy had the entire thing powdercoated. Personally, I didn't like it. But I'd start checking those two places for pics if no one here has one saved.

ha my bad, forgot they were m's, but i want to do something to change it up... i like my stuff to have a subtle but unique touch. Any one wanna photoshop it?

sweetbmxrider 02-18-2010 11:07 AM

Wheels really need something to separate them from the tire.

well then give me some ideas... i can powdercoat pretty much whatever and i have the option of nickle plating, but not chroming over the nickel. hmm maybe do a polished looks on the lip with the black?

i agree. all black it all blends together, no contrast.

I had a silver car with all black rims on it, I was happy my friend let me try them on before I bought them, I gave them right back. They just dont look right! I like the black w/polished lip.

i wouldnt change them, they look way too sexy

Foosh 02-19-2010 12:21 AM

haha ... you have a good arguement i might be buying a set of old zr1 rims now to mess around with, they're all 9 or 9.5inch wide but i figure they're still something to play around with

Lt1_8U 02-19-2010 07:57 AM

one thing to photoshop is painting the lip black but leave that smaller ring around the outside of the rim polished, my wheels are like that - here's a pic:
