Random question and unrelated but any idea how much a shop would charge to weld on a 3 inch exhaust from the header back. I already have a muffler I want to use. |

I usually use felpros
Valve cover gaskets intake gasket & rtv distributor (the overlooked gasket, lol) carb to intake gasket carb to air cleaner gasket (not sure what you have now) water pump gaskets t/c cover and seal (remember to lube the seal & balancer collar before you put it back on) technically oil pan gasket, depends on experience I guess and condition of pan gasket. you might need to grind the tabs off the t/c cover. I've only done a couple so I'm not a pro at that, lol good time to do hoses and clamps. |
Valve springs and valve stem seals perhaps?
Not sure if they were replaced or how aggressive a cam you are getting, but they would be on my list of things to replace as well. |
springs are new and have been replaced already...plus its a REAL mild cam. Hydraulic Flat Tappet,262/272, Lift .420/.442,)
